Well if u dont support a program who brings in troubled players why have u been supporting the team for the last 7 years since the Evans ERA. Then if not our program, which program will u support, a program that buys there players???????
Wait guy --seems I remember a certain Eagle star that had some problems for a while----Been there and done that in the 60s---get your ~~~ back safely --you are in our prayers!!!

My son was unable to make Brads camp, and Brad offered to do private one on one instruction. He is trying to give back to his community. Yes he is also trying to make some extra money but at the same time he is doing the right thing for the young ones in that he is trying to teach the CORRECT way to shoot the ball!!

I am proud of Brad Boyd!!!!

I thought we got rid of the guy who brought in those troubled players. When Jessie left, everyone began to believe that the new coach would start disciplining the players more. Now it seems as though that hey, if you go to jail for a year, you're still welcomed back to the program. This is a joke.

Coach Lee is falling down the same path Jessie went down.

I spoke to him at the gym after a class and his biggest complaint was the lack of discipline and evans not using him properly. He did not name Boyd specifically, but he implied problems with players getting high before games. No names given. My comments on Boyd are from people specifically with him through the season who told me what they saw (These are people I trust.) I have to admit that I was never a fan of Brad's play; I thought he was a quick trigger and was aiming for an individual scoring total rather than making a better team play. (When he was on, he was fun to watch...)

I'm done knocking the guys...I'm just going to patiently wait for the season to start, buy my tickets, and heckle the hell out of the visiting team.

What kind of shape is Southall in? I haven't seen him in a couple years. I'll bet that he's a little bulkier now. I just keep thinking "how the heck is any opponent going to get a rebound with Cameron & Southall underneath?? We may flat out destroy some teams. This could be fun...............

What was his assist average? I never said anything about hating the guy, I don't know him. What was his fg%? There were many games where he surprised me, but to be a complete player and to not take so many ill conceived shots at poor times...He is a smart player, but in college he didn't seem to flick that shot at the best times. The fault could have fallen on the coach; Boyd may have been given the green light by Evans, i.e. Tiras and Lee. I never talked to Evans to find out. If the fault falls on the coach, then Boyd wasn't used properly and neither were the two big men (Southall/Cameron). Our success in those days rode quite a bit on talent, they looked disorganized at times (Hamilton and Antoine Landry saved our AS"""). I'm a huge cajun basketball fan and a fan of traditional play, Lee seems to enforce the discipline and skills needed to play the right way. If Southall plays, we'll see him hustle a hell of a lot more and not loaf down the court after a made basket. Southall's improved composure will be obvious, if he plays. Just my opinion...we're all entitled to one.

All I know is Even though Bridges got the Steal and made the Pass it was Boyd's Assist that made this Dunk happen. Excitement? I have never seen anything like it and probably never will again.

    Video of S.P.A.D.E play.

    Thanks Boyd
