What is the purpose of this Michael Southall bashing thread reappearing? Some of you guys need to stop being so pious and judgmental of the boy and get over it! Let's move FORWARD!

This thread has returned because there is a very real possibility that Michael Southall will rejoin the basketball team next season. There have been discussions between Mike and Robert about Mike's return. I suppose it would have been better to start a new thread about Mike, but his addiction will be a factor in his return.

Yeah...I agree Icitsh. I'm just really hoping that he can get his life in order. I spoke with him on many occasions...him seemed to be such a nice kid!

I heard though the grape vine that Southall and B. Boyd just got signed a lease on a rental house in lafayette.

I have never seen Southall play but those that have say he can be awesome.
He reminds me of another "gifted" athlete that blew his stardom ....Calvin James

We need to add a picture with him in Handcuffs.

He would be in the NBA right now if he had only stayed out of trouble.

Some people believe that they are above the law when they have talent. I guess Southall found out the hard way that, that isn't always the case.

What short memories some people have. He is convicted felon and got caught again, dosen't matter if the charges were dropped, let it and him go!

A convicted felon gets a traffic ticket and you want to hang him out to dry?

Read the article, he was stopped for a traffic violation, had marijuana in the car, tried to destroy evidence. If you look back the guy couldn't pass a drug test, probation revoked, and caught again. He is a SLUG.

Destroy evidence? If you remember only Williams was charged with obstruction of justice. If you are going to bury the guy try not embellishing. Rehabilitaion is priority one.
