Ragin' Cajuns None of us are perfect.....

What you stated is indeed true "gorcajun." However, I don't think that we should be so quick to condemn him due to his past mistakes and shortcomings. We don't know of the adversity this kid has encounterd in his life...obviously he has not had good guidance up to this point, as evidence by his lack of ability to make good decisions.

I always thought that our previous coach lacked talent in the area of leadership. He did not display the ability to mold his players into good viable young men! As evidence by the poor output by our players in the classroom and how he allowed an unprofessional disposition to take place on the basketbal court, ie..."players pants hanging off their butts!"

With that stated...I think Coach Lee may be the answer for a problematic player such as Michael.

I say let Southall go. He already had to many chances. Move on to bigger and better fruit.

Southall and Cedric Williams are cancer and we do not need either of them back. They had their chances, let them go their way and we go ours please.

"Cancer?" That's crude! That's a barbarous analogy, coupled with a lack of kindness and sympthy for your fellow man! However...I geuss everyone is entitled to voice an opinion!

He has been given chance after chance after chance! How many second chances do you give a guy?

He is a great player, and would love to see him suit up again. Maybe Coach Lee could get him going agian, but I think overall it would hurt this team.

"Esquire?" Take it however you wish.

Michael Southall is just bad news for this team. He has been given many, many chances in his life and has blown them ALL. I don't think we were the first school to take a chance on him (actually many chances both academically and personally) and I know he had many chances with the judicial system. He is/was in jail because he broke every condition that the judge had given to him. I DONT think that he is a 'poor misunderstood kid who just needs the right direction.' He has had that direction. Coach Lee was on the staff when Southall was here and Im sure he gave and gave to Southall. Southall is BAD NEWS! I hope he never even returns to my great state; it will be better off without him.

Yea I say Southall is done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has picked all his leaves off of the tree.

The man could have been an NBA star and he chose to go the wrong route.
He is done, and should pay the consequences.
