Sorry I never saw your question. I know some jails/correctional facilities have programs for addicts to get their lives back on track and stay sober. Lafayette Parish Correctional Center has a program like this that does good work. I hope for Michael's sake he did recieve some treatment in Wisconsin.

This thread has returned because there is a very real possibility that Michael Southall will rejoin the basketball team next season. There have been discussions between Mike and Robert about Mike's return. I suppose it would have been better to start a new thread about Mike, but his addiction will be a factor in his return.

Yeah...I agree Icitsh. I'm just really hoping that he can get his life in order. I spoke with him on many occasions...him seemed to be such a nice kid!

I have never seen Southall play but those that have say he can be awesome.
He reminds me of another "gifted" athlete that blew his stardom ....Calvin James
