    UL RECRUITING GOES HIGH TECH

    Lafayette-based Web site developer Firefly Digital has created “Ragin Recruiter,” a top-notch recruiting tool for University of Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team. Image-driven, informative and easy to navigate, the site promotes the university’s football program and its athletic and academic opportunities to high school recruits, their coaches and parents. It will serve as UL’s primary recruitment tool.

    Although the site was developed and designed with coaches and recruits in mind, www.ragincajunfootball.com is publicly accessible and offers great information for UL football fans. It does have a password protected, non-public area for coaches and recruits that includes instant messaging capabilities.

    The site’s recruiting components also work with the coaching staff’s PDAs (personal digital assistants), allowing coaches on the recruiting trail to connect to the Internet from their PDA and manage recruiting information while actually watching a prospect in action.

    UL Football Nice site

    Authement says "I invite you to take a closer look at "UL Lafayette" I looked real close, and suggest you drop the Lafayette Dr. Authement. It will help recruiting.

    Default VERY NICE SITE

    There is a "Welcome to Acadiana!" page that will have everyone calling us Lafayette for sure. Firefly Digital did a real good job but it shows they are disconnected from the fight the everyday fan has to put up with, hey why not promote Louisiana instead of Lafayette. I don't get it.

    I really like the way that the intro called us the University of Louisiana. Also anytime you get to hear Jay scream, "Touchdown Louisiana!!!" is a bonus.

    Will someone please ask Bustle to take a new photo. I can't believe they use that photo everywhere. At least do some whitening touch up with an editor or something.

    Other evidence of this includes the title bar, or whatever its called, at the top of the page, reads: ULL Football. I believe it can be found on the louisiana.edu website that the university requests that the name ULL is not used. Somebody should also tell that to the Advocate.

    Great site. I agree with those who have complained about the ULL and Lafayette references, but this is definately a positive step.

    Get the tools to recruit;
    Recruit;
    Win;
    Win consistently;

    WE WILL BE RECOGNIZED AS "THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA" period.

    Here is where we fall short.

    This site needs to be promoted non stop on 1420, in the advertiser and on the local news stations.

    Other than the regulars who visit this site, how is one to know about the new site. Just like our so called private athletic foundation, no promotion.

    Don't mean to complain, just making suggestions.

    Very nice indeed.

    Sounds like Troy Wingerter on the intro.
