No... I am not complaining. Why can't we have a discussion?Originally Posted by crazycajun

So chill and listen to what I said.
It's a Saturday night. So what if the kids have to go to bed at 10:30? I hope you mean 3 year olds. Kids don't go to bed at 10:30 on a Sat night.
College town mentality would have you playing a game at 7 p.m. and then the college kids heading downtown after a big Cajun victory.
I even ran into some Alum and two college professors dripping in sweat saying... damn I'd rather play at 7 p.m.
And it's still hot and humid in "The Swamp" ... just don't have the sun beating up the whole student section. I always liked the atmosphere of night games.
A lot of students work Sat mornings... it sucks for those who can't go.
I didn't know it was a decision Bustle made. I talk to someone who works for the Alumni Assoc. and they said that when Abdalla was on the board they wanted late games so it wouldn't affect the business and when Abdalla left the board all the games were moved to 4 p.m. This is coming from the Alumni Assoc.
It's all good though... I'll be out there supporting the Cajuns... even if 7 lightning delays occur because of AFTERNOON thunderstorms
The game would have started at 7 p.m. we would have been fine

Everyone posting here is passionate about going to the games and supporting the Cajuns. But at this point there just are not enough of us. So we have to cater more to making it conveinient for a large segment that are not as dedicated. That's just the way it is.............
Yeah and I would love nothing more to see our attendance in the mid 20's at every game. The more... the better. The defense will feed off of the crowd and the offense will come out blazing. They look out to that sea of red and it's on. Our home record has been solid the last few years. We must keep that going. I hope we get at least 1 or 2 games pushed back to 7 p.m. ... maybe ESPN U or ESPN 2.Originally Posted by RedBug58

What is the purpose of this "poll"?
I love the idea of a consistent start time.
Suggestions:
- Wear sunglasses
- Wear sunscreen
- Wear Vermilion
ps With my schedule, I won't make a single kickoff this year. I hope to make every 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. I think the consistent start time, trumps my inconvenience.

I think, this was one of the lowest first home game attendances in a while.
Early Kickoffs, South Louisiana
Square Peg, Round Hole
So get it changed, stud.Originally Posted by HOTBOUDIN

I like 4pm kickoffs. I'm not a tailgater so it is easy to go eat out and have a meal at a decent time. I have children and they get cranky if they stay out too late. I think that if we have consistent 4pm kickoffs and make it our tradition it will work.
