I raised four children and am currently raising two more. They are four years old.

With a 7pm kickoff, they were asleep on the hill by the end of the third quarter. My wife, fortunately, has someone go to the games with her, otherwise she'd be trying to carry twins out of the stadium by herself.

No matter how flat the pancake is, there are two sides to it.

    I get that. Do you?

Well if that's your arguement, let's move all of the basketball games to 4:00 too!

You'd get no argument from me, although we both know that basketball games are about an hour shorter in duration.

Only because they are not played outside at 4:00 in the afternoon during the rainy season.

I miss playing football at night. I always liked 7 p.m. games at "The Swamp".

4 p.m. is just about the time I am relaxed in my tailgaiting spot.

Games ending at 7 p.m. leave a void.... Games ending at 10 p.m. carry on to downtown.

It's also hot as heck at 4 p.m. not as bad at 7 p.m.

    What are you guys thoughts?
All home games should start at 4:00 pm. It's good for kids, it's good for business! They should also start a few home games at 11:00 am for TV exposure just like the BigTen11 does.

All these excuses and complaints is crazy. I know when I was 19 and 20, I could care less about heat and the sun. Look the idiots 30 miles east of us, they would miss church to go to a home game. We need to just make it a point and start putting some good attendance numbers up.

My dad has been taking me to games since McNaspy in 1965. He is 83 and HATES the 4:00 pm starts and I agree with him. I like football under the lights, however expensive it may be to run them. 2-0 at home though so ...whatever it takes ! It will be better when it cools down. I am ready to wear a sweatshirt !

    GEAUX ...........
Houston is going to be tough by the way ........... I hope we play well.
