MIKE'S EVERYWHERE
Michael Desormeaux has become less a backup quarterback and more a multiple threat for the Cajuns, and his versatility was displayed virtually from kickoff to the final horn Saturday.
Desormeaux lined up in a slot position early in the first half, motioned to the backfield and took an option pitch from Babb for a 10-yard gain on his first-ever non-quarterback rush.
He made a bigger impact, though, on defense and special teams. The Catholic-New Iberia product began working as the nickel back in UL's dime defense on Wednesday and was in that role several times.
