Dumb comment... just plain dumb. I don't recall many injuries in Baton Rouge on either side. You need to talk to folks in the know and they will tell you injuries in D1 football are not related to the score differential. I guess Toefield's broken arm 4 years ago taught him never to take on UL again... huh?

Didn't we go into the LSU with a lot of injuries and key players out either from injuries or suspension? I don't think we left that game with any key injuries. Not sure about the Texas A&M game. Some of those same people are still out, to my knowledge?

Hey .. I was just answering your questions. Every year a couple thousand stay in the parking lot cause they don't want to lose that buzz. It's the fault of UL. They sell beer at basketball and baseball games... so why not the football games? I go to the games though. I love football.

Many of the listed injuries originated prior to the first game. Regardless, I was responding to a poop-stiring comment. I just get tired of hearing year after year some moron making some comment about a "big school" and some injury connection. My worst injury came in playing flag football, coming down on my ankle at a bad angle. Injuries are not caused by specific opposition. You play contact sports... injuries happen... period.

I feel for these guys and their early season injuries. It is hell to keep fighting injuries and keep yourself physically and mentally going throughout the season. I admire those who can do it, and always hopeful that we have the right sports medicine folks making the right decisions.

One month into the season, nobody's sure how good the University of Louisiana football team really is. After two opening weekends in which the Ragin' Cajuns were overmatched, UL came home last weekend and took advantage of undermanned North Carolina A&T in a runaway 48-7 victory. In other words, the Cajuns haven't played a game this year against a team of anywhere-near-equal talents and abilities. That should change today, and a lot of people will bring their figurative yardsticks to Cajun Field at 4 p.m. today when UL (1-2) takes on a struggling Eastern Michigan squad that's probably better than its record.
