Cajuns are rougly an 8 point favorite on most sites. I would believe they will cover, but just barely.

    Cajuns 21
    EMU 13

I, unfortunately, for one, don't have the confidence in the attendance that most of you have (18,941)

    Good luck Cajuns.

If they are that bad of a rushing defense team and we are that good of a rushing offense team, there is no reason why we won't/shouldn't score every time we touch the ball. Especially since we are starting to get a little depth on the O-line, so they can stay a little fresher, and because we have 3 or 4 RBs and 2 QBs (not that we will be using them both) that we can insert and always have somebody fresh and hungry pushing it down their throats. Their QB was already benched this year for his play, so if the defnese performs well and our CBs can pick it up, then there is no reason why we should win be 3 or 4 touchdowns.

What concerns me is that although they are giving up 180 yds. per game, that is against teams with a balanced passing/running game. UL has NO PASSING game. If they stack up against the run and force us to pass, we could be in trouble. EMU might be 0-4, but they could very easily be 2-2. They are a MAC team, not SBC or 1AA, so this will be a tough game. UL hasn't shown anything yet like I was expecting this year. I hope this is the game that moves us forward like we were at the end of last year. I remain very caustiously optimistic. I think this game will be a good indicator of what kind of year we will have.

Let's see the Cajuns score 4 Touchdowns and get a Cajun Teaux Field Goal, 31

Eastern Michigan is good for 3 Touchdowns and and a field goal but the Red Zone takes them out of the game early and they only get the field goal and a Late touchdown.....

    Cajuns 31
    EMU 10

If the weather holds up and LSU blows out LSU we see 23472 screaming Cajun Fans.......

If the weather turns lousy we get 17500 through the gate and another 10000 in parking lot.......

Never understood why you'd stand IN THE PARKING LOT and not get inside the stadium. Ridiculous...

Hopefully the secondary can heal up... that's a lot of injuries back there.

The way I see this game...

    UL 27
    EMU 24

I think it will be close for some reason. I hoep otherwise, but this will be a telling game for the Cajuns. Remember this team toasted us at EMU last year... which many predicted we would win.

The attendance.... I would say we just miss the 20k mark. I feel like 19,331 would be the number.

    It's still Ri-dic-u-lous.

You go to football games to watch football, drinking is a nice side activity.
You go to sports bars to drink, watching fooball is a nice side activity.

IMO, keep your a** out of the tailgating spots if all you're going to do is drink during the game.

No way, this guy picked my exact attendance prediction... so how about 19,313. I was going with this because I'm just an odd number kind of guy. As for the score:

    Louisiana 28
    EMU 13

Hey .. I was just answering your questions. Every year a couple thousand stay in the parking lot cause they don't want to lose that buzz. It's the fault of UL. They sell beer at basketball and baseball games... so why not the football games? I go to the games though. I love football.
