Even with the well balanced schedule UL is already 19th in the country as a team with 194 yards rushing per game.

Among teams that have only played 4 games (38 in all) UL ranks 7th in number of carries, 7th in net yards and 8th in average per rush.

And that 194 per game is with only rushing for about 170ish against EMU. We could have pounded it even more. They sure weren't gonna stop us.

I agree one game doesn't mean much one way or the other but some programs are playing upwards of 3 and 4 to open their seasons and that makes a big difference. I noticed in a print article on the Troy - UAB game that UAB is reporting being really banged up at this point in the season. I sure hope their series of "money games" didn't put the rest of their season in jeopardy.

Well, if someone wants to go digging for data, FAU played 4 tough opponents to start the season. If the theory holds water, FAU should be decimated.
