  1. Default Second Wind: Ragin' Cajuns get to be bullies

Jerry Babb was dripping water all over the room, but his smile was from ear to ear.

UL had just dominated a game in which the Cajun quarterback had to throw only 10 times, and a little rain wasn't about to dampen his enthusiasm.

He ran for two touchdowns, his backfield mates had 330 rush yards, a banged-up defense pitched a shutout for 54 minutes and the Cajuns got a touchdown on a trademark special-teams play. It all resulted in Saturday's 48-7 win over North Carolina A&T, and all was right with the world.

"It always feels good," Babb said when asked about the Cajuns' offensive numbers in their home opener. But Babb could have been talking about getting a much-needed victory after his squad had been rolled up and wrung out in the season's first two weekends.

"Our team did what we should have done," said Cajun coach Rickey Bustle. "We executed, we got a big play in the kicking game, our offense didn't punt until the second half and we turned a turnover into a touchdown."
