The University of Louisiana hasn't entered many football games over the past decade in the role of favorites.
Since Rickey Bustle became the Ragin' Cajuns' head coach prior to the 2002 season, UL has been a betting-line favorite only 11 times in five seasons. They've been the underdog against the line 34 times, including this year's first two outings at LSU and Texas A&M.
The other three games during Bustle's tenure have come against Division I-AA competition, a number that increases to four Saturday when the Cajuns open their home schedule against North Carolina A&T. Games against I-AA teams are not included on most betting lines.
