Marshall Delesdernier doesn't like the feelings he's had when he's come off the field after the University of Louisiana's last two games.

"It's hard to walk off after you lose 51-7," the Ragin' Cajun senior defensive tackle said in reference to the loss to Texas A&M 10 days ago. "But this is a tight-knit group. We wanted to get back to work, and we've really gone back to the basics and some basic drills this week."

The Cajuns held a full-pads Tuesday practice, going for just over two hours and getting in several live segments including a mid-practice middle drill.

"We came out and worked pretty well," said Cajun coach Rickey Bustle. "I think the weather picked them up a little, but they've bought into the idea that this week is about us and not about North Carolina A&T."
