Notes from Geralds interview:

UL Athletic budget is hard to pin down as it was reflected to be 2nd to last in 1A. Gerald said, We have to be creative in how we fund raise as our state does not allow student fees to go to Athletics(that is for all State schools that DO NOT recieve State funds) LSU only school totally funded by self.


Football stadium complex has one gate sold to State Farm and the next one is almost sold! (Swamp Gates he gave no details as to when they would be finished)

Gateways around the Athletic complex will all be completed by Saturday with the sponsors signage on them
SPONSORS are: Secon, Bordens, Acadian Ambulance, Knight Oil, Franks Casing, Popeyes, Moncla Well Service!!!
Coming aboard are: Hummer out of Bation Rouge(Lafayette is their #1 market) and Pods out of Baton Rouge came aboard yesterday!


Indoor Facility to be completed by Feb. 1st 2007, Recruiting will be big, as High Schools use it prior to State Championship games, and it will set us apart from All other state schools except LSU. All sports will use it to varying degrees but football will probably use it the least.

Daddycajun, what do you mean by baseball stadium plans? Please explain...

Plans were drawn years ago by Tony's brother who is an architech,to build a new grandstand that would tie together the now new first and third base bleachers and have skyboxes and increased seating.

Would probably take someone with a really cool digital camera to get access to them. Wouldn't be as clear as an original; but it could work.
