Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns won't be playing Saturday night, but they're still busy this week.
The Cajuns are recovering from one-sided losses to LSU and Texas A&M, so the open date comes at a good time to regroup. But it's also a good time to re-focus - on both sides of the ball.
"The biggest thing we have to do this week is hone down on things and try to correct some of our mistakes," offensive coordinator Rob Christophel said Wednesday. "Obviously, we played two very good teams, and we wanted to see what we were capable of doing."
Two losses and 10 total points later, the Cajuns are trying not to be shocked after finishing the 2005 campaign on a record-setting roll.
The squad worked out Tuesday and Wednesday, and will be on the field again today. The Cajuns then get Friday and Saturday off, before beginning preparations on Sunday for the Sept. 23 home opener against North Carolina A&T at Cajun Field.
