We didn't exactly storm thru our conference tournament, more like stormed out early! That trip to Omaha is still one of the best weeks of my life. Nothing like a 991 mile road trip one way at 20 years old to watch your favorite team, and 2 highschool buddies (Dohman, Stutes) pitch in the CWS.

Can't tell if your serious or not. But if we do I'll die my hair blonde. With the state of thi s program we will be lucky to get to a Super Regional within the next 3-5 years.

I say you have to wear a UL visor that has that poofy blonde hair built in. You have to be included!

Well in the end, Stony Brook 2012 was no Louisiana 2000.

    Still a very nice run.

Well.I'm often optimistic to the point of being ridiculous. But I WAS being serious. I think that what happened this year made Coach Robe and his staff sit up and evaluate where our program was/is. I think this will result in an upgrade in talent, not only for this year, but for upcoming years. Deggs is helping do that RIGHT NOW. After all, THAT is what got us to Omaha.and THAT is what will get us back. Unrealistic? Maybe. But I'm confident this will be turned around.and a CWS can be the result.

I was surprised by their ineffectiveness in the CWS. I think LSU may have made them look a little better than they were. I'm not taking a lot away from them, as they are a very good team, but I expected them to be a lot scrappier in the CWS.
