They complimented the Lotief's, talked about the absolute party and great place to play at, unfortunately, U double L. Loved her, the fans, and the program.
Ragin’ Cajuns outfielder Christi Orgeron led the charge offensively for Team USA in an 8-0 victory over Puerto Rico in their opening game of the World Cup of Softball presented by Lumber Liquidators, Thursday evening.
I have to say I have a pet peeve with sports announcers who don't do their homework.
Last week when the USA team played Canada, the ESPN announcers said that it was Christi's first time playing for the national team. This is actually her second summer playing for the national team.
Last night watching the TV3 sports, they had Christi going 2-3 with 3 RBI's last night against Puerto Rico instead of 2-2 with 2 RBI's and a sacrifice.
A little prep work please.
In my defense , I was just going off what the official box score credited her with. I watched the game and only saw 2 RBIs as well. But hey if they are going to credit her with 3, I'll give her 3.

Besides with C.O. . . . RBIs just happen!
Not a problem, it happens. I was watching the game so was aware of the box score before it was posted anywhere. I'm more concerned with the duo who does the TV broadcasts as they typically have time to do prep work prior to doing the game. I laughed at a game earlier where they were saying one of the US team had 3 grand slams this year, but didn't mention Christi who had 6 this year. I will have to say that they spoke much better about the university and coaches Lotief last night than in prior times I've heard them cover the National team games.
Also cudo's to the US team coach, who's actually playing Christi in the field this year. Last summer, she was only a DH or a pinch hitter.
I would have preferred this photo on the article
