Though I typically stay away, I had to go surf TD this morning. There is actually a 16 page thread about weather they should have cheered Stoney Brook or threw pixx baloons at them after the game. High comedy. What a bunch of entitled tools.

Last night, the POS tiger fans were on the tigersh_t website trashing Stony Brook, while the great tiger fans were at Alex Box post game giving the SB players a standing ovation and high-fiving them in the outfield.

True dat. Stony Brook's players were still on the field 45 minutes after the game ended visiting with fans and accepting congratulations. I'm not big on LSU fans. But LSU baseball fans appreciate good baseball, regardless of who is playing it.

Message board talk is one thing. What actually happened was Stoney Brook got applause for great dagger plays down the stretch (shortstop, center fielder), they got applause and "great game" after the game and they got a victory lap w/LSU fans high fiving them. Doubt you see that many places after home team gets beat in a Super. Props to Stony Brook-they were a much better team-hope they do well in the CWS. Good year for the Tigers too-IMO over-achieved for talent level.

Yes your baseball fans sound a lot more classy than your football fans. The congratulate vs. ____ balloon debate was none the less hilarious.

I would say this is true when they get taken to the woodshed. Otherwise... not so much.

I guess that is why they don't want to play in Lafayette and will travel to all the other towns in the STATE and we have put some Ls on them in the past!!!

Looking at Stoney Brooks record of 52-13 the combine total of runs were 46-33 in the 13 games they lost. Thats only 13 runs in their 13 losses.......not bad.

7 losses by 1 run, five others by 2. They only lost by 3 or more once, a 7-1 loss at Minnesota, who they turned around a beat the following day.

A 4 seed going to the holy Box and spanking a mediocre LSU team then celebrating for five minutes straight. Definately be dogpile of the year.

They were outscored 55-31 in their losses. They had 7 losses by one run. They only lost two games when they scored more than four runs.
