No, you would have had to read a previous thread earlier this week. One of your LSU buddies came on here saying that LSU softball s the new powerhouse in the state and the LA high school recruits are now wanting to go to LSU.

He didn't know what he was talking about. In fact UL just signed the player of the year in softball and the runner up.

Which we can all agree is laughable

I'm certainly the first to take every opportunity I can to pile on to LSU. But Stony Brook is no joke. That's one of the best college baseball teams I've seen in a while. Stick "Florida" jerseys on those kids, and they're ranked #1 in the nation.

Yeah, I read some of "Earl's" posts. Pretty silly. I don't care much for Lotief, but he is a very good coach.

Personally, I thought the LSU softball team underachieved most of the year, then overachieved in post season play.

Baseball was the exact opposite. They overachieved during the year, and underachieved in post season play.
