This.......
They got their @sses handed to them... What else are they going to do??? its when they are winning... which is most of the time unfortunately, that they become snobbish, overbearing, in your face butt-holes
So lets stop the elevation of Tiger Fan to something sacred.... he simply was too embarrassed to do anything differently
Putting myself in their shoes: that loss hurt, and it hurt bad. There was something else they could have done: turned around and went to their cars.
I'm not in a hurry to praise LSU, but I have to be honest. That was a classy display. If that had happened at Oklahoma St, I'd be saying how classy that was. I can't react differently just because it was LSU. That would be... unUL.
I think that with all the talk about how classless LSU is---Maybe they are learning some class from the other side of the Basin!!!! Did we start the tradition of feeding the opposing team after games???I guess we were at least one of the first???
He had mentioned how good the food was and probably played a part in why his Brother -in-law took a teaching position at UL!!! LOL T-Bine what a memory!!!
I went to the game Friday with a high school friend & his wife who came down from Shreveport. I did not wear anything P&G (besides the approx. 2 dozen red-clad SB fans, I was one of the very few who didn't), however, I didn't wear red either. Outstanding game, great environment, and the Seawolves were in complete control. I heard some in the crowd talking about the "Seagulls" ("what kind of a scary mascot is that?"). SB had baserunners in every inning except one. Even left the bases loaded one inning and in another had a runner on 3rd with 1 out and stranded him. They could've/should've had a few more runs. But, to their credit, the Tigers kept battling. At one point, I think maybe the 7th inning, SB had outhit LSU 10-2. LSU got their first run courtesy of an error,
You are allowing your bitterness to make a general statement about a whole fan base due to the actions of a few. Unfortunately, there are people like you who are more than willing to conveniently convey the idea that bad behavior is exclusive to LSU fans. Such is major college sports. You will always have a handful who let their emotions get the best of them.
