Oh why, Oh Why can't we all just embrace the fact we are the Ragin Cajuns of The University of Louisiana located in Lafayette.......The intertwined U and L with Lafayette written underneath is not a emblem.

I wish we could be University of Louisiana only those bozos in Baton Rouge both sets of them have made that illegal. So the sooner we can get Uniform with it the better.

That is sweet...will it be part of the fence? by that I mean will the hopefully soon redone fence be connected with it r go around it.

Just got your answer. It will not be part of the fence. I asked if the old fence would be replaced and I was told that it would not be any time soon. Best guess is that it would cost about $300,000.00 to replace.

No it won't be off of the groud but you will not have any problem seeing it because it will be about 25' tall and about 33' wide.

True True.... But since the sign will be located in the city limits of Lafayette, isn't having Lafayette on the sign redundant? I mean I know there are dumb people in this world, but they have to realize that the university is here in lafayette if they are looking at the sign. No need to waste the extra money in my opinion.

Even though it would really dress up the complex the fence is not a revenue generator so it will not be a priority unless it's donate.
