LOUISIANA La. - Each week Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns football coaching staff honors its outstanding performers from the previous week’s game by designating them as Player of the Week.

The Defensive Player of the Game for this past week was junior defensive end Greg Hathorn. Hathorn, playing in his first game with UL, recorded four tackles and a tackle-for-loss.

The Special Forces Players of the Game were Brit Framel and Michael Desormeaux. Framel blasted six punts for a 41.0 average, including a net average of 36.2 yards. Desormeaux, the Cajuns’ backup quarterback, notched two fumble recoveries on punt coverage.

No offensive player of the week was named.

The Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week was Dusty Mack. The Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week was Norris Gray.
