    UL Football 2003 Walk Ons

This University has a history of contributions from walk-ons... [e.g. Josh Joerge and Harold Nash]

I know several kids are asked to walk-on... Do we have any such players in this year's crop, or is that something we won't know about until after the Spring?

    Thanks!

I don't know names, but I know for a fact that several recruits that hoped for scholarships, have been asked to walk on.

From what I hear, Bustle has a prefered walk-on system where effort and hard work translate into awarding scholarships down the road.

Several walk-ons from the past were recently awarded scholarships.

Unfortuantly these highly productive walk-ons will not show up on the recruiting service rankings when they guage how well this class really is.

I have been this excited about every recruiting class the Cajuns have put together, honestly.

What I'm excited about is how far this community has come in dispersing information. I'm impressed with everything... I remember the days where It was not until Dan MacDonald finally finished his prospectus that I knew who we had.

This community has accelerated the process to the point that Cajun fans have become as interested and as informed as any college football fans in the country.

We should all be very proud and impressed with ourselves, and think of this as a snowball growing out of control.

    UL 1984, 1999 . . . . A look back at previous recruiting classes

Someone on the Cajun board said that this site had a look on how previous years' football recruiting classes turned out.

    Is there such a thread?
