Cajun committment Eddie McCray from what I've heard will be visiting Iowa State this weekend. ISU needs d-line help, but the kid committed to the Cajuns and I hope he honors that committment.

Due to Baldwin's closed lip recruiting policy of the past three years, a lot of the players that Bustle and his staff are recruiting are hearing about the Ragin' Cajuns for the very first time.

So even though the kids like the info that Bustle and his assistants have provided, I am not surprised to see some of them visit other schools just for clarity of mind for themselves. Now you never want to lose a recruit, but I like Bustles openness. Even if he were to lose certain recruits I think the free advertisement is worth it.

Don't think for a second that sophomores and juniors who think they are good are not paying attention to the recruiting wars.

So win lose or draw I think that these players hearing the name "Louisiana" and Ragin' Cajuns several years in advance can only produce winning situations for UL down the road.

I wouldn't worry to much about that.Travis Ferguson is visiting Baylor & Houston. There are some kids the Cajuns are still recruiting that have committed to other programs.Generally you let them take their visits and hope to change their minds.

Ragin' Cajuns Cajun commits entered into the Rivals database

    http://www.iowastate.rivals.com/prosearch.asp?Sport=1

Hey guys I talked to the moderator of the Iowa State board and he entered in all of the verbal committments for the Cajuns. Just click on the link and enter the name of the commit in the search (note: unless you're a premium subscriber, you can only do a basic search) and it'll bring the guys up. If you click on a the word Louisiana Lafayette on the right hand side of the commits profile, it'll bring up a list of the commits (I think).

Also, contrary to what I previously reported, Eddie McCray did NOT make the trip to Ames this weekend. Hope that means he's solid for the Cajuns.

Yeah, it looks like we are safe with McCray. Iowa State was on him pretty hard and wanted him to visit, but he assured our coaches that he wasn't going. Boy, it's great to hear so soon that he didn't make the trip. McCray will visit UL on the 24th, along with some other guys that have committed to the Cajuns (Leger, Risher and Chance). The 24th will be our "make or break" weekend. Tasmin Knockum, Ally Broussard, Connor Morrel, Chijuan Mack, James Jordan, Lamar Morgan, Willie Waddell, and Paul Eli will all visit on the 24th.

The Cajuns are hosting 7 recruits this weekend:
    QB Devin Williams
    RB Abdule Levier
    LB Tre Green
    DT Chris Cutler
    DT ? Haynes
    DB Torres Kingsby
    WR Derrick Jones

  8. UL Football Tasmin in on 24th

Tasmin Knockum will visit on 24th. Abdule Levier is visiting this weekend though, along with 6 other recruits. Will try to find out exactly which JUCO kids will commit, or are committed. Let you know on Sunday.

That's good news on the DBs after we lost Ross to Houston. Have you seen Knockum play?

Thanks Ragoo for the correction on Knockum.I was told he would visit this week,so I assumed it was this weekend. Most of these kids will probably attend the baskeball game.

Navarro prlly sounds familiar because thats where Rekieta played I believe, as with most of my facts, I cant be 100% sure, but I think I remember correctly.
