Man that 12th inning was an epic meltdown. Missouri had the bases loaded. Hit a grounder to 3rd. The LSU 3rd baseman threw home for the force - but she airmailed it. One scored. She was supposed to come home and cover, but she just stood there. Another run scored as the catcher scurried to the backstop to catch the ball. She looked toward home to throw it. No one there. 3rd baseman still just standing there. The 3rd run came around and scored without a play. Epic.

Oh, and the 4th run of the inning scored on a throwing error to the plate, too. Nice.

lsu leads 3-1 in third game, and that should be good enough with fico pitching.

It's softball people...literally. Do I want the Lady Cajuns in the WCWS? Hell yes! Am I gonna lose sleep over it? Hell no! We need football and football only to drive this bus! I understand the burn that comes with watching teams around us play in the post season, but all the "respect" your looking for comes on Saturdays and Saturdays only.

I guess we can never get over the LSU deal----We go to the WS in baseball and they win it ---now we are better I think in softball and they make it through I think a much easier path---We get a really good basketball team and can't beat them a few years back-----Sometimes the gods just seem against us----And with the softball they won't even play us and that hurts!!! But when we do play it is ALWAYS at their place!!!!

Interesting knowing that going into the games today LSU's RBI leader had 29 on the season. UL had 5 girls with 40 or more this season.

Amazing what 2 stud pitchers can do for a team, don't be surprised to see them hold Cal's offense to just a couple

I hate ULM, but I've never thrown up in my mouth over them. Today, on the other hand, I threw up in my mouth over LSU getting to the College World Series while the Cajuns sit at home. LSU would not have beaten Arizona St. We would have waltzed over Missouri. But life isn't fair.

I wish we could go to LSU and play 10 times a season. No matter if you don't want to come to Lamson. We'll smash you 10 times and probably get a national seed from the improved RPI. Then you can take your purple and puke butts to the desert and we'll go smash Missouri. Sounds like a deal? Let's get this done.
