Thread: The Book: 2002-03 Louisiana Football season

  1. Default

    Reminds me of 2001 46-46

    Lets have a different outcome.

Dombrowski runs for 1st down to the Cajun 42
Again gets to the Cajun 31

Pass caught at the 24 yard line

    41 yard FG attempt

    Louisiana call time out.

    41 yard FG attempt.

    :05 seconds left.

    déjà vu

    Default I agree

    should have gone for 3.

  7. #247

UL Football The teams we have lost to...

have a combined 20 wins and 11 losses this season. Only Houston is having a losing season so far, NSMU is .500, and aTm, Minnesota, and State all have winning records. State is ranked #12, Minnesota #26, and aTm #36 in the nation (ESPN coaches poll).

  8. #248

    Default

One of those teams has the best defense in the country. What is Houstons record?

  9. #249

    Default Alabama-Birmingham

since losing to us on 9/21 has improved to 3-3 with conference wins over Memphis (31-17) and last night over Houston (51-34)? Go figure.

  10. #250

    Default Houston's record is

2-4 with wins over us and Rice. Losses to Tulane, Texas, TCU, and Alabama-Birmingham.

  11. #251

    Default In my opinion

our record against teams on our "current" competition level is now 1-2.

    Houston L 17-36
    UAB W 34-0
    NMSU L 28-31

    Points scored-79
    Points allowed-67

We are not a bad team but have plenty of room to improve. I am sure our coaches and players are aware of this. The team will improve and I think win at least 3 more and maybe 5 more games this season.

Those statistics should mean something, not as much as out of conference wins, but something.
