  1. UL Football Replacement

Coach Bustle has said in the past that special teams are very important to him and will use his best players on them. VT has done this for a long time and has had a ton of success.

I think Stamps may be his BEST option.

    Alumni Long trip to NM

This is our longest road trip of the year. Playing so close at Houston, Baton Rouge allowed many Cajun fans to follow. Hopefully we will have big crowds (20,000+) for our 3 game home stand and a good following to Monroe.

  8. This is Upsetting I would have gone for 3 points

I know I am in the minority, but here is why I would have gone for 3 points instead of trying to get a first down.

    • I would have gone for 3 so as to prove we learned something from the last meeting in 1938 when Louisiana turned the ball over to LSU on downs at the 6-yard line.

    • I would have gone for 3 just to get that 8 game (now 9) goose egg score off our back.

    • I would have gone for 3 as the Cajuns would have had the longest scoring drive (67 yards) of the night. (LSU's longest 60)

    • I would have gone for three to show that the ½ billion $ to 1 billion $ funneled into LSU athletics over the 100-year interim between the first and most recent match has only garnered LSU an additional 3point gap in their margin of victory. Although the increased 6 points-it should be noted- is a better performance than the 1902 LSU team.

    • The main reason I would have gone for 3 is because if Louisiana had kicked the Field Goal . . . . I have no doubt they would have ended up scoring at least 10 and perhaps 17 points.
