If we never dip below 15,000, I will be a happy man.
I would prefer not to dip below 31,000 but will settle for 15,000 for now

It just dawned on me, but there were factors working against a large Alumni following to the LSU game.
Even though the you must have 1 season ticket to get 1 LSU game ticket snafu was "to little to late" corrected. There was another disincentive to going to Baton Rouge. Any alum could get on a bus and go to College Station with a party group and the cost was only $75 plus food.
If you wanted to go the LSU-Louisiana game, the cost was $98 plus food, plus travel expenses.
Not only that but ticket purchaces this year you could mix match and combine any away game purchace with any UL home game purchace and charge them together, but if you wanted to purchase an LSU game ticket you had to charge it separately from any other purchase.
It sems to me someone did not want the attendance to rise.
Everyone who won't go to Baton Rouge for one reason or another, needs to bring 3 or 4 friends to the UAB game.
I will be in attendance in this HOSTILE enviroment
cheering on the CAJUNS and proudly sporting the

Noticed quite a few changes to our depth chart, here they are.
Offense
Bill Sampy is now listed as #2 receiver behind Fred Stamps.
Other WR spot says Eric Bartel or Andre George (who has been starting).
Ronnie Harvey now listed ahead of Tony Hull at center.
Blake Bourque listed as starting FB with Elliot Temple the backup.
Defense
Due to injury of Justin Venable, G.W. Rudick is now the starting LE with Eugene Kwarteng his backup.
The LT position now says Charlie Smith (who has been starting) or Justin Taylor.
Due to injury of Ross Brupbacher, starting ILB is listed as Ricky Calais or Dallas Charles.
The other ILB position now list Marrious Berry or Stanley Smith (who has been starting).
Interesting changes especially at defensive LT considering Smith has started for 2 years and is a Senior. Hull and Harvey have been going back and forth at center as has the fullback position with many players. I am glad to see Sampy and Bartel get a shot in the rotation at WR to see what they can do. I think Rudick will do fine at DE if he can hold up for a hole game (he is kinda light at 226lbs.) and I know Calais is capable of playing well. I like to see that positions remain wide open and that if you do not produce or slack off you will find youself on the bench. As for Dugas getting kicked off the team, this was not the first time (as we all know) so whatever the problem is I hope Nick gets it worked out for himself but the team comes first so I would say we are probably better off without him. With Dugas gone Fred Stamps and Eric Bartel will handle the punt returns and Bill Sampy and Ivan Taylor the kickoff returns.
Timely post, thanks.
