Maybe fair but still awful. They replayed one pitch that was called a strike and was in the middle of the batter's box. It's hard to believe he was calling a Super Regional game.

Several have mentioned the ump. I think he has been very fair. That's all you can ask

I don't think he's been calling the strike zone, but he's called pitches well off the plate against both teams. It's hard to adjust to that wide a strike zone, but I guess if both have to adjust that's the best you can hope for.

They may have been confident even though they lost 9-2. Well now they've lost 15-2 in 2 games. Are they still confident tomorrow??? Their crowd was dead silent in the 3rd inning. All you could hear was "U...U...U....UL! U...U...U...UL!"

I was shocked at the pitch count myself. When AzSt pulled Escobedo (sp) she was already at about 110 pitches while Wallace was at 67.
