Quote from the Okla-AZ broadcast:
"I expect ASU to give (UL) a good game."
NOW you've finally got that in the right order. It's about time.
Ok we were seeded 14 and we finished in the top 16. Quit crying about the seedings. Looks like they were not that far off. You can't expect for other good teams to knock one and other out so the cajuns could walk in. I enjoyed another great softball season. I'm proud to be a cajun
The LAdy Cajuns are incredible, averaging 50 wins over the last 12 years.
A lot to be proud of, nothing to be ashamed of.
The thing about going up against the #3 seed this early is NOT that it tells you you are a real #14, it can't, it can only tell you you are not #3.
You very well could be the #4th best team in the tournament but because of a premature ejection due to ridiculous seeding you can never say one way or the other.
You never have comprehended the seeding system from these thread posts. No one argued that we were higher ranked than ASU. We were talking about being a slightly higher seed than a 14, and consequently being paired up with a lower seed than the #4. Last night's result had nothing to do with the seedings being correct or not, just as other outcomes in other games don't. Everyone got their seedings, put on their gloves, and went to work. The outcomes of the regional/super regionals are not validation of "seedings". Never have been.
We had a great group of girls this year and a group that I though could make a run for the championship. But we do have 6 returning starters that experienced a great season, a home regional, and a super regional against the defending champs. We plug a couple holes and we will be right back there next year knocking at the door again.
Just remember that arizona is likely to get swept without scoring a run.
