New Iberia moms raising money for state-of-the-art playground equipment

Two New Iberia moms are raising money for state-of-the-art playground equipment to be installed at Cyr-Gate Community Center, and the city isn't paying. The New Iberia City Park Playground Enhancement Project has been actively raising money since last month for the three-story playground equipment.
"So we've raised about $43,000 thus far of the $234,000 we have to raise," said Project Chair Jessica Ditch.
