You gotta beat em all to be standing number 1 at the end. Bring it on. This team will be ready.

they just mentioned that only 3 times in the past 10 years has a "mid major" advanced to the WCWS.

Care to guess who did it all 3 times?

X Factor because we are "spicy". Gag. At least they didn't put up the Lafayette Leopard logo.

Weather will be in the lower 80's with below average humidity readings 55%-75%, but a lot higher temps and humidity than Stanford used to.

Baylor will also benefit from the heat and humidity vs Stanford in daytime hours. I recall UL pairing up with the Cardinal's in the CWS in 2000. Mascot a redwood giant, and of course now nickname is a color.

Will we follow in the 21st century and lose the pepper and Ragin'Cajuns? Naw, but just to think the Vermilion and as mascot Live Oak or a giant swamp cypress.

LemonAid out of lemons. UL is one of four teams with highest trips to regionals without a championship. Not a bad list to be on, yea it could be better if we get off it this year.

From just a quick look, we've beaten around 11 teams on this list, some of them multiple times, and our only lose, of course, coming against South Al.
