Cajuns beat ms valley 21-0.

They did . but realize in softball it is much about the pitcher in the circle. Alicia Lorenz (MVSU ace) did not pitch against the Cajuns . she threw twice against Rutgers in the Louisiana Classics (losing 7-2 and 4-3). She also beat Troy 2-1 and pitched a good game against LSU in Baton Rouge (losing 2-0). You can also add Mississippi State (3-2 loss and 4-3 loss), Memphis (8-1 win), and Ole Miss (4-1 win) to her resume. MVSU will be much more competitive with Lorenz in the circle.

I'm glad we get to host. I hope we get a good crowd out there to support the lady cajuns.


I'm just disappointed that Scott and TJoe didn't do enough to get us a better national seed. It seems like had they tried we could have gotten a 10 or 11 seed.
