Really? You do realize this is more or less a top 50 team that has held us under 3 runs each time we've played. Also you may not want to describe anything about this team as "pitiful." We've grinded out quite a few this year when we ended to. You'd swear if it's not a run rule game it feels likes loss

Bases loaded, no outs. We got nothing. Haack struck out, then Cherry flied to left and Smith was called out after "scoring" on the sac fly for leaving early. Ouch.

No, after rewinding and watching a few times the angle wasn't good but you could see Smith still at base as the ball was caught. Bad call imo

I looked back at it and it did look like she left a little early. It's still a really close call. She would have been safe at home either way, though.

Game is on Cox and I was able to replay the tag up in slow-mo. (thanks DVR). Feel like I need to congratulate Katie Smith for making a perfectly timed start toward home plate. Score should be 2-0. No doubt a poor call on the appeal.
