Thread: Important TV Games (Softball)

  1. UL Softball Important TV Games (Softball)

Several games have been moved up due to anticipated inclement weather in the South.

    - Tulsa and Marshall are playing now on CBS College Sports Network (DirecTV Channel 613) for the CUSA tournament title. The game was originally scheduled for 1pm CST and was moved to 10am CST. Tulsa leads 1-0 B3rd.
    - Alabama meets Florida at noon CST on ESPN2 for the SEC Tournament title, originally slated for 7pm CST.
    - Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech meet for the ACC Tournament title at 3pm CST on ESPN.
    - Louisville meets Notre Dame at 5pm CST for the Big East Tournament title on ESPN2. A good and free live video feed can be found here.

Unfortunately the one game I cannot get is UL-South Alabama. DirecTV subscribers with Time Warner internet service cannot get ESPN3 and CSN Channel 642 (DirecTV) which carries the game is always blacked out for college baseball and softball. Meanwhile, the Sun Belt Tournament Video package does not cover this game due to CSN having the broadcast rights.

espn3 is online only. You may or may not have access depending on who your Internet Provider is. Our game is listed. Some of the other games have a (subject to blackout) message but ours doesn't. It wouldn't surprise me if it is blacked out in our area, though.

Thanks for the info, I've been wanting to see Louisville play.

Tulsa leads 2-0 in the T5th

If your internet service provider is also a cable provider (Ex. Time Warner) and you do not purchase cable (Ex. you have DirecTV), then you likely do not have access to ESPN3.
