I must suck at these internets, 'cause I can't navigate to a roster or projected depth chart. L'il help? Thanks!

Start there and work with the links to the left. Note that the media guide is out and available to the right.
None of the rosters have been updated with current info on players since they started fall practice. The media guide has more current size and weights of players than the Ragin Cajun Football roster.
Of concern is our depth. Our starting lineups look pretty good. But, many of the backups listed are redshirt freshmen. I am curious to see the new depth chart in a week or so as we approach game week vs. LSU.
Thanks for the heads-up guys - I'll keep looking for the fall camp update.Originally Posted by Sugar Land Caju
I notice there are a couple of kids from Pasadena on the roster (no numbers...walk-ons?). There have been a few from here in the past. Wonder if there's some connection out here...
Hey, Kimo! Welcome back to our board. I wanted to say "thanks!" for Reggie Bush! All Saints' fans really like him. He has been a class act since draft day. Before he ever signed a contract, he was in New Orleans bringing aid to various groups. He even donated big money to help restore turf at Tad Gormley Stadium to help get high school football back on track in the city.Originally Posted by KimoSC
What do you think your team's chances are this year? I guess, based on the preseason polls, that USC is just reloading and not rebuilding. Most programs who lost players like Bush, Leinart, White, etc. would really be looking at a down year (even with the type of talent a top BCS school normally has on hand year-in, year-out). Good luck to the Trojans this year.
Hey, thanks! I'm trying to get caught up on the Cajuns before kickoff. Getting LSU right off the bat is pretty exciting.Originally Posted by RaginFan2
Bush *is* great. I met him few times over the years and he's always been polite, respectful, etc., even as a high schooler. I have no doubt his skills will cross over. Remember he's still just 3-plus years out of high school and is still building his frame. I went to Pro Day at school earlier in the year and he's bigger, faster and stronger than he was last season. All that and an amazing work ethic. Congrats to the Saints and thier fans - I hope this is the start of a great partnership!
SC should be fine, thanks for asking! I think a 10-2 season and a berth in the Rose Bowl is very do-able. The defense should be back to where it was a couple of years ago and will be expected to keep the scoring down for a few games while the backfield gets up to speed. The QB job is Booty's to lose -and he might. The frosh Sanchez reportedly has better tools, just not enough experience in the system.
But...enough about us. Geaux Cajuns!
We played Evangel my Jr year in high school in the second round of the playoffs John David Booty threw a bom against us. He was the up back on punt and it was a fake punt that we didn't see coming. It might be the best pass I have ever seen thrown. He has great tools but I don't know if his or Sanchez's r better.Originally Posted by KimoSC
Booty got some decent playing time last season with the 2nd and third teams and I liked what I saw. I've felt that if Sanchez is good enough to beat him out, we're in pretty good shape.Originally Posted by Clutch0364
JDB is a much different look from Leinart, tho. ML strength was game management, decision making and accuracy. JDB is more mobile and throws *alot* harder. Decision-making is to be determined. Though he has always been well-regarded here. When he was a frosh and Leinart was a soph, there were alot of calls for Booty to start (until ML established himself about halfway thru the season). We'll see how it goes...
It doesn't matter who starts Sanchez or JDB because either way ya'll will have a heck of a QB.Originally Posted by KimoSC
Though all the potential in the world doens't mean a thing until you see how they perform. The Cajuns have the luxury of having two QB's who've already been there. Both Babb and Desormeaux have been in there, playing with and against first teams. You at least know what you're dealing with, and can resonably expect some improvement with another year behind them.Originally Posted by Clutch0364
Expectations are funny, though. We didn't think we'd be able to replace the guy who came before Leinart. ML never looked that great, and barely beat out another guy for the job (Matt Cassell, who now backs up Brady on the Patriots). Then ML wound up being even better - go figure!
It is crazy how that works out...what really makes me sick though is your backup QB from that year is a backup in the NFL lolOriginally Posted by KimoSC
