Brenn Conrad commits to UL baseball

Jace hit the ball pretty well, so if he better that's great

He's playing SS at LHS, but projects as a 3B. He's probably a better hitter than Jace, and has fantastic hands defensively. He may not be as athletic as Jace is. All in all, he's a VERY good baseball player. I'm surprised by this news. I had recently heard that Florida and Mississippi St. were at the top of his list. Good get for the Cajuns.

This was expected and had been in the works per my conversations with Conrad a few weeks ago. Was just an issue of Robe finding the time to have him on campus for a visit to meet coach Deggs.
