In an effort to further its commitment to developing leaders, the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration at UL is now offering an Executive Master's of Business Administration program.
The EMBA is a 16-month program that is designed for leaders with significant professional achievements and management abilities. Classes will be held every other weekend, four hours on Friday and nine hours on Saturday.
" The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration has grown to become an integral component of Acadiana's business community, as well as a valuable resource," said Dr. Joby John, dean of the college. "It is among an elite group of business schools worldwide and we take pride in keeping our tradition of excellence alive with this new offering."
The EMBA program will challenge senior managers and executive leaders to step out of their comfort zones and move even further on professional and personal levels, said John.
With a focus on experience-driven learning, participants will receive a level of education that complements and speaks to their experiences as business leaders.
The program uses the framework from the college's MBA curriculum. Participants will take classes in four modules: financial fundamentals; business process and analytics; organizations and markets; and, capstone and integration.
