    Sounds like you expect Tech to have the same kind of season as the Cajuns. Good luck and maybe this year y'all might win your bowl game.

    Win, win, win. National respect will follow. Meanwhile, market the school and program as aggressive as possible with interest at an all-time high following a memorable 2011 season. The Cajuns took some steps forward after last year. Put together another similar season and their reputation will improve again.

    You are mightily simplifying it. Tech played a tougher schedule and was very competitive. Plus, the bowl game they lost was to a highly respected TCU team who was ranked in the top 20 at the time. Not the case for San Diego State.

    Tech has beaten several BCS teams over the years so that is one reason why they have a better reputation than the Cajuns.
