Yes, good point.....I should have made that clearer. I was curious what the 'official' word was on the green space, and had found that on article on the main website from when the construction on the union was still being done.

If the wind is blowing in the right direction I can smell the cooking at my home. I have to admit, for institutional food service, it does smell pretty good.

It appears that they are starting on the reconstruction of the overlook/stage area. Sidewalks are poured: leading from/to Hebrard, and a ramp leading up from the union....both look good.
What I can't figure out is what they are framing up along the lines where the building once stood. I thought they would just pour a new surface over the whole thing to tie it all together...but I don't think they need such high form work just to do that. Helmut: do you have an expert opinion of what they are doing? Maybe you can reach out to Steve O. get a get a rendering of the project????
