Stopped by campus this morning and took a few pics. Sorry I'm not much of a photog, ;-)

I'm glad I saw this before I went out today thanks you save me the effort. The weather these past three weeks has been pretty bad. Progress is not as rapid as it was with the residence hall construction so I have been feeling like I have been taking photos of the same thing every week.
I'm in the radio annex behind Burke judging a radio competition. The amount of construction here is amazing!
This was posted on the "Lafayette Memories" Facebook page, so thought I'd share. Interesting view of the early quad.....
The university's first president:

Dr. Stephens was responsible for planting the "Century Oaks" Around the perimeter of the then campus along Johnston Street, St. Mary, McKinley, University. Most of them have largely survived. Two were scheduled to be removed to build New Bonin Hall but the Administration balked and they modified the building. If you look at Google earth you will see that new Bonin and Corona hall are not alike. They were originally supposed to be mirror images.
Obviously the pic is before the construction of Maxim Doucet. From what I understand, the long term plan is to turn Stephens back into an academic building and move the computing center to another location on campus.
