It is taking much longer. A totally different type of construction for a totally different type of building. Once they get out of the ground they should start making steady progress.

Plans were to get bids back in June. Expect end zone construction to start in August.

Fence off South EZ during the season and it can be done by EOY. Not possible in a month.

---Gonna have to disagree on this one---If the construction starts (PER Beau) say the middle of August and the last game done in Nov---Kids visiting during the season come in for games and would be much more impressed with a packed stadium---If we start the last part of Nov then we will show the construction on all the visits up to Feb when the NLIs are signed!!! The project could be a nightmare in moving the heavy equipment every week for games and I am sure many unforeseen problems!!! They will like the "HOT" Ragin" Cajun sign in the locker room!!!

I'm not going to disagree with you; but both can be accomplished. In fact it will be easier to pack the stadium if the South Endzone area is blocked off and under construction. That is a win-win. Recruits (players and investors) will see a packed house; the need for additional seating; and the construction of some of the additional seating!

Who wouldn't be impressed by that?
