Don't think so. The last post I saw from Carter USA was it was scheduled to be delivery late in 2014.

Don't know about now, but when my now wife worked there while in school she locked it up one night a week. I helped her many times in closing the union up overnight, and could even do it myself after awhile. The keys, then had to be returned to the UP's for overnight, where the morning person would pick them up to get it opened early. So it wasn't 24/7 in the late 90s. It was open 7 days a week, but just closed overnight. I believe, it closed at 10:30PM every night unless someone had something booked past then, like a dance, movie showing, etc. Most Sun-Thur nights was a regular 10:30 close, but easily stayed open a little later on the weekend nights due to those events going on.
A little bit different view now that the construction fencing has been moved to allow for students to move out of Corona and Bonin Halls. This is a view from the side of Harris Hall as I am standing in Boucher Street.

As seen from the Olivier Parking garage.

Metal cladding is finished near Guillory Hall. I still don't like it but it is what it is.

As I expected. They cannot clean on a timely basis the buildings they are constructing. This is typical of what I found in Olvier Parking tower. The stairwells were worse one smelled of urine.

---Just had the whole part of the condo replaced ---Big building that I have a small part of---Mexicans replaced in 3 days---I don't like it either but will be easy fixing I think if we later want to change---Get the damn thing done---As usual I yield to Helmut to see if this is correct!!!
A few pics from recent trips. This first few sets are from about a week ago: I was able to get up on the planter and then walk along the brick fence, so there are better views of the new Food Service area, as well as looking back towards the Ballroom/Bayou Bijou. When I went back this morning, they have erected a fence to try to prohibit climbing up on the planter/wall, but then the whole courtyard entrance was left open, so I was able to snap a few pics of previously unseen areas. I'll post those next.
Top pic: looking into the main entrance
2nd pic: Food Service wing, looking towards Boucher
3rd pic: close up of the first floor of the Food Srvc wing, looking toward McKinley
View of the Ballroom area
Pics from this morning
1st pic: entering the new 'plaza' area, looking towards McKinley. View of the Ballroom area
2nd pic: plaza area, looking towards Boucher
3rd pic: looking toward St Mary. New side walks behind Bayou Bijou
4th pic: looking toward McKinley, new sidewalks for Wharton-side entrance
More pics from this morning
1st pic: behind Wharton, looking towards St Mary. Apparently they are enclosing an area behind Burke-Hawthorne to make a service utility area? Anyway, there will be one less access from/to Wharton-Cypress Lake. You can also see the pretty extensive work being done to enclose the Wharton HVAC system....I really like that detail, :-)
2nd pic: another, close up view of the Wharton HVAC project.
1st pic: from Guillory Hall balcony, view of the new Food Service wing.
2nd pic: close-up view of the Food Service wing. Note the new low-brick wall going up to enclose a terrace area? Looks like they trying to match the Cypress Lake wall
3rd pic: still on a Guillory balcony, looking towards Boucher.
Nice.
Thanks
