NUMBERS: Friday's full-pads morning session lasted one hour and 55 minutes from the first-period horn until the end of conditioning.
The squad will hold the first of four two-a-day sessions today, going in full pads for an 8 a.m. workout and working in shorts and shoulder pads at 3:30 p.m. in the first afternoon session of fall camp.

Temperature was 88 degrees with 57 percent humidity, resulting in a heat index of 94, at the mid-point of practice. That was well down from readings at the start, when high humidity drove the heat index to 102 degrees at 8:20 a.m.

"We've only had one IV," Bustle said, "so we're keeping our fingers crossed. It's always hot in two-a-days."

HURTS: Freshman tight end Matt Ulm of Mandeville went down with a left leg injury during middle drill, but remained on the sideline with an ice pack for the remainder of practice and was expected to be back in action today.
