    UL Softball Softball schedule question

Does anyone know if the McNeese game is going to be made up?
I remember them talking about rescheduling it when it was rained out.

    It will not be rescheduled.

The risk vs. reward there is just not worth it for the Cajuns. A victory won't help too much, but a loss would sting considerably.

    There would be no LOSS

This was not the reason. An attempt was made to reschedule.

    A victory would have helped.

How much would a loss have hurt?

A loss would have dropped their overall RPI .0041. A loss would have dropped their NC RPI .0079. In neither case would the Cajuns have dropped a spot in the RPI rankings (using last week's rankings of #12 and #3 respectively).

A win would have put them within spitting distance of #1 and #2 in NC RPI, but still short at present.

Absolutely. This is a HUGE senior class. Ashley Brignac, Christi Orgeron, Katie Smith, Page Cormier, Erica Murphy, and Meghan Granger. If you check the stat's, you know just how huge this class was for the Cajuns the last 4-5 years. If you meet the ladies, you'll know even more how huge this class was. Nothing but CLASS.

Doubleheader Saturday, with a single game & Senior day on Sunday.

Sorry I missed Callie, but i wonder why they have her as a junior on the ragincajuns.com softball roster. I'm guessing she's a senior academically but a junior athletically.
