This was a tight game most of the way. Cowboys put runners on first and third with two outs in the ninth. At that point, Hicks was pulled for Kellogg. Kellogg was able to induce a ground ball to him and his throw to first ended the game. It has been awhile since the Cowboys won in Lafayette. Eventually they will break that streak but for now it goes on.
