I agree, I think the admins think this would carry over from athletics to the academic side of things.

I do not agree, for example U-Conn is only used in sports. How can you get any worse than bein a "Conn"? It is not a problem, University of Conneticut is used in Academics.

This would especially hold true for the University of Louisiana if it was marketed as a sports cheer.

Just like Ragin'Cajun, if we face it and embrace it the world will love it.
