However after everything that has gone down with LSUA&M the answer is HELL NO I wouldnt raise a hand to help... However that could change if there were a shift in attitude... if LSUA&M simply came out and said we will take care of our own issues through our own Board of Regents and will not take any position on dhe Louisiana regent's actions regarding their schools.... sure I would.... but man I am almost 50 years old and I have watched time and again A&M do everythingt in their power to keep us down so no I dont see that as happening

Here it comes, "most of the LSU fans never went to school there." Well, you know what?, that is the measure of a strong program. The ability to draw outsiders helps increase all funding streams. maybe if the militants like you stopped demanding that UL fans support only UL you would get more fans who are not connected to the school and you would actually fill up the stadium.

As for tax dollars, My family owns a business, I own a law practice and together we pay plenty of taxes. I'll better that the average income inside tiger stadium on Sat is higher than it is in Cajunfield. Look at our luxury boxes that generate more than UL's entire revenue per game. I would also bet that there are more college grads in tiger stadium than pepperfield.

See the thing is, your attitude drives soft supporters like me away from UL.

What do you mean by this and what does it have to do with anything? Earlier you complained about tshirts saying UL sucks or whatever but you don't even bother to look at UL fans themselves? Your hate for LSU has blinded you and made you completely irrational.

Should you try really really hard and read what I have been posting today, I dont want one red cent from A&M... All I ask is that you simply leave us alone... I honestly dont care if we ever pay again.. In fact Id rather we did not.. There are pay days around for us to go get our brains kicked in without dealing with this misplaced superiority complex..... ok for the record.... YOU HAVE A BETTER FOOTBALL TEAM THAN US... . Wasn't this UL/lsu game a record setting attendance game for the tigers? 3rd highest or something like that?

It was reported as their third highest attended non-conference game of all time. The point the other poster was making was that this is their second season of the higher 92,000 capacity (new west upper deck). So actually, I think it was the fourth non-conference game at this capacity, not the third.

Appalachian State, North Texas and UL. I was not mistaken. Our third OOC game was moved to Arizona State last year.
