How up are you on the Texas style Aggies? Is DF really on the local hot seat like the media portrays?

I totally agree. I was really upset when my father-in-law showed me all of the Cajuns fans that went onto LSU message boards. It seemed as though they were trying to get some kind of affirmation from LSU fans that "Hey the Cajuns really are a good team...right?? Didn't you see the improvement??" My question is why. Why do we feel the need to get our worth as a team from LSU fans. I could care less what LSU fans think of our team. As long as our coaches and our fans see improvement, that is all that matters. So I agree, lets move on and get ready for the Aggies.
I hope you guys beat the hell out of A&M. I could definitely see the Cajuns giving them ALOT of trouble!
Why anyone would make themselves a nuisance on the state board is beyond me.????Originally Posted by Textitan
Im sure they love it just as much as we love their a-holes coming over here.
Some of our folks are just asking for abuse.

Thanks a bunch. The Aggies arent LSU by any stretch of the imagination. Heres hoping for a good game out of our guys.Originally Posted by 3rdRowTailgater

It's really tough to tell, after all, they've only played the Citadel so far. I was much more interested in UL-State and ND-GaTech. They had plenty of fumbles and dropped passes on Saturday, and it was just an all-around sloppy game.Originally Posted by Turbine
DF is truly on the hot seat, but the Aggies are going to have to be really bad to not put up 8 wins this year against their schedule.
Did you hear Les Miles comments at the end of the first half? He said the Cajuns can pick their poison. If they play 8 in the box we are going to throw deep. If they play 7 in the box we are going to run it down their throat. This has to be the most arrogant coach I ever heard.Originally Posted by DaddyCajun
Well it's not like our secondary didn't make it easy enough. I mean, seriously, who was Adams covering half of the time?
Our offense wasn't too much to figure out either. It was either run Fenroy on off tackle or a draw, or let Babb run around like a chicken w/ his head cut off. Not really being negative, but this game is done and hopefully the playcalling wasn't a prelude to what we'll see this season.
I agree that I hope this is the last time this game is showed, for a long time.
Were there any injuries? I read where lsu had some minor bruises and bumps.
Also, read where we will have the return of two suspended players for the Aggies game.
What were there roles in the offense or defense?

I read some of the reviews about how the Citadel game went, and it seems that Citadel was able to move on them fairly well in the first half. I truly believe that they implemented a new defense at the worst time to face the cajuns because they will need more than 2 linebackers to stop our style of offense. From what they were saying on the TexAgs board, this style of defense left the middle of the field wide open, and said that they were very open to attack from the QB draw, and I think we know we're fairly good at that.Originally Posted by CDeb
On defense, I acctually liked what I saw early. We forced some down and distance against LSU, we just didnt finish the job. I also think I think if the defense gains some confidence early that the game could get kinda dicey for A&M. I think that if we keep the game within 7 points in the fourth quarter, we win.
