I don't know where you get your facts, but we allow alcohol on campus. We certainly don't sell it during the games unless you sit in the zone club, but even then you arn't allowed to take out of there.

Tailgating spreads over the entire campus. LOTS of alcohol. Our campus is wet......

The atmosphere is definately not subdued. We don't get as drunk as LSU fans do and thus are quite a bit nicer to visiting fans. However, this does not keep us from being an quieter. Hope to see lots of ya'll at the game

Maybe they had a tiger in a noose and had the LSU Keystone cops called out on them by tigerfan?

Skip likes to blow things up like that. Truth is we played Appalachian State last season and had 91,000+ so we're near or over capacity for every game. Also to say it was the 2nd largest non-SEC crowd in history is a little misleading as this was the 3rd OOC game with our new capacity. I'd rather play the Cajuns then Appalachian State, etc. but I'd much rather play a team from a BCS conference.

I think this will be my third trip to College Station and have ahd a great time on every trip... The Louisiana A&M fan had me thinking I was losing my mind because I can remember not having any beer and having several offers from your fans... See you Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe have more than 70,000 for this game huh Aggie?

YOU SUCK... LSWHO..... I see a tad bit of difference...
You need to grow some thicker skin. When "Tigerbaiting" some Cajun fans we heard LSWho sucks, among other things. Its just a part of football and not to be taken seriously.

No question... and I understand fully the desire to play a BCS school rather than a mid-major..... but my question has always been why send $700k to an out of state school when our state is in such need.... bring Tech and Tulane and even Monroe in rather than App State.... Just didnt make sense.... and Skip was the first to realize that and I applaud him for it.....

As for Skip blowing things... I simply have to take the man at his word.... but doesnt matter the principle is the same... Your "We have nothing to gain" argument holds and can be applied equally to App State as it does to us... yet the State wins....ooops that right... if it benefits someone other than LSU A&M then it is NOT GOOD......

I comment back to them after getting any comment thrown my way. I hate lsu just as much as anyone on here but I was involved with a lot of trash talk Saturday and I didn't take any of it to heart and you move on. Those same guys who I was talking trash to said how we had played much better than the 45-3 score shows. I understand your points but I just take it as good natured ribbing.

With the start of the Tulane series this year many LSU fans will be opposed to playing another Louisiana team in the same season. Many LSU fans also don't think that as season ticket holders we should have to watch ULM, Tech, the Cajuns simply to help those schools out with a big payday.

I'm not saying thats how I look at it, just trying to show you what many LSU fans feel.

Trust me my skin is thick.... In fact much more so than many of the A&M fans... Walking by a tent I got the Tiger Bait chant to which I turned and said "You guys are really boring... Try something new".... i thought it was gang war time.. 5 or 6 came flying out of their chairs as if I had insulted their mammas...lol.. for calling their cheer boring...lol... I simply waived them off and walked away.... Your compadres are quite brave when they are 20 years younger than me and outnumber us 15-1.....lol

No problem with thick skin... my original comment was simply to say lets dismiss the myth of this touchy feely we are all from the same state and like each other....

Wasn't this UL/lsu game a record setting attendance game for the tigers? 3rd highest or something like that?
